A filmed stage play. The 1920's style zoot suits and military uniforms are very incongruous to the play. Megan Follows as Juliet is awful: her epitome of vain-pitch-face is incapable of expression and is besides too old for the sweetness and lovability of the character of Juliet.

In the Italian city of Verona, two families are constantly fighting: the Capulets and the Montagues. When Montague's son, Romeo, falls in love with Capulet's daughter, Juliet, Friar Laurence, a monk, agrees to marry them, in the hope that this will end the family feud. But Capulet and his wife do not know of Juliet's love, and decide to marry her to a wealthy count, Paris. Juliet must now trust Friar Laurence to find a way for her to avoid this second marriage.

Juliet:
"O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name
Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn by my love and I'll no longer be a Capulet."
