A great book that is assigned to me as part of Practitioner training at my church.

One doesn't have to believe in the typical, religiously oriented denotation of "soul" to gain the fullest insight. Through various examples of symptoms as they relate to classical myth, Moore makes it quite clear that there is truth in the potential value of a more nurturing - and less problem-finding - approach to psychological healing.

If you've ever been in therapy, or are in therapy, you must read this book. It will give you amazing insight. Sometimes, we just need to "be" more and "think" less.

Thomas Moore writes very well in describing the souls part in our lives and how it affects us.
