This book was terrible. I really enjoy the books and this does them no justice at all. If I read this, I would not want to read the rest of the series and that would be a waste.

I've read a few graphic novels that made sense. This one didn't, at all, and I'm a huge fan of the Outlander series. As far as the graphics went, the scenery was often lovely and atmospheric, and I appreciated the Gaelic translations. …

I borrowed this for my wife who is a big Outlander fan. She's read all the books and seen the first two seasons of the TV series. This graphic novel, however, was okay she said. Take from that what you will.

I watch the TV show and without knowing the story, I would definitely have a hard time understanding the graphic novel. Interesting take on the story.

I've never read a graphic novel before. I didn't know what to expect .. But a comic book was not something I WAS expecting. I love Diana gabaldon and the outlander series. This was interesting side to the Outlander plot but not my style of…

Playing the reading game at the library and drew "Staff Pick". I've never tried a graphic novel before so this was an interesting experience. But I don't think I'll bother with them again: I found the plot superficial (actually a rehash…

One needs to start with the first book and keep reading the whole series. It is a fascinating story.

I have not read the "Outlander" series and do not intend to. What attracted me in the beginning was the artwork and the fact that I enjoy graphic novels with a lot of eye candy. The story of "Exile" is confusing as ever, and I agree with…

I completely agree with dhopkin1! If someone just picked this book off the shelf with no background into this series, he/she would not understand the story line whatsoever. I've read Outlander a few times and I was still having difficulty…

My first graphic novel. An interesting take on the original. A must read for Outlander fans.

If I hadn't read "Outlander", there's no way I could have understood "The Exile". The faces of the characters are inconsistent throughout the novel, which makes it difficult to distinguish their identities. Even the amount of cleavage…

Beautifully illustrated. I enjoyed the fact that the story was told from Jamie's point of view. It was also interesting to see how Jamie and Claire were depicted by the artist. That said, did Claire really need to look like a Barbie Doll?

Excellent graphic novel. Beautiful drawings. Gives new insight to the story from the point of view of other characters besides Jamie and Claire.
